Tips for Drivers:
- Give yourself added time to get your child to school or yourself to work.
- Added cars and busses mean added congestion and slower traffic.
- Added construction slows traffic even more.
- Watch for kids walking or riding bicycles to and from school.
- Pay attention to school zone flashing lights – don’t speed.
- Stay off cell phones in a school zone – It is against State law to talk on cell phones in a school zone.
- Be courteous to other drivers – allow others to turn, merge, etc.
